I am hoping that if all our plans come to fruition, we will be able to open the Kiosk in the final week in May in time for the bank holiday weekend.
We have recruited our full team for the kiosk opening. I am pleased to report that they are settling in and learning the ropes of their new roles. We are still recruiting for positions for the café which will open later in the summer, please pop across a CV if you are interested in working with us.
The team uniforms finally arrived after much back and forth with different styles and designs. I finally opted for comfortable plain white polo shirts with charcoal aprons. Thank you to Be Bold Workwear in Cardross for the amazing job they did embroidering our uniforms with our logo.
Thanks also to Carraro Coffee who completed coffee training with all our team this week. It was a great training session and a great foundation for our team, some of whom are new to hospitality.
Our till supplier will be at The Pavilion early next week to install our till and ordering system. We hope to have QR codes set up around the park to make ordering food from the kiosk quick and simple when you are out in the park. The QR codes will direct you to our website to place your order and give you an approximate time as to when to collect your order. We might not be fully functioning with this system when we open but it will follow in a few weeks if not before.
Now that our kitchen team is in place, I plan to spend the next two weeks preparing menus, cooking, and trying new dishes. I will post menus as soon as they are finalised and would love to have your feedback.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Jamie
